Corporate Puritanism : More ‘AI’ Silliness
More items I have posted getting flagged as nudity or mature content. But this was yesterday’s post where London is wearing a swimsuit, and not a very revealing one or an under-sized bikini ? I would say none of those photos are approaching NSFW levels of nudity or sexuality ? But….
What worries me going forward, is if things are tightened up censorship wise and then retroactively applied. This has been the case with the Russian social media platform VK. I lost this site of the London Andrews Project because VK decided that they would not allow the promotion of porn sites. Fair enough, it is very rare that I share links to porn forums etc and now I know, I won’t be sharing any at all.
Problem, they retroactively applied this. So, I got from VK for sharing links and promoting London’s OnlyFans page : Something I have not done since 2022 !
So, VK pulled the plug for links that are two or more years old !
Tumblr and Bluesky are using AI to monitor the content of posts and look at the worrying ability of that – yesterdays swimsuit post being flagged is a perfect example. A few more steps in this direction of corporate puritanism and the whole cottage industry of fan pages for nude models etc will vanish.
So, enjoy it why you can. In the meantime, I keep on keeping on.
